Three lines open, all of them born from a customer problem rather than from a literature review.

Advanced coatings

Coatings that improve thermal stability and heat distribution, resist corrosion and hold adhesion under service conditions. From laboratory formulation to industrial trial, with the characterisation running alongside rather than afterwards.

Embedded sensors

Instrumenting the material itself, so a part reports its own condition instead of waiting for a scheduled inspection. The most exploratory of our lines, and the one with the longest horizon.

Adhesive joints under real conditions

How a bonded joint behaves after five years, not on the day it was made. Accelerated ageing, correlation with service data, and the test methods that make the result usable in a certification file.

We run the project, you keep the intellectual property. Scope, milestones and deliverables agreed before we start, with the laboratory work costed inside rather than invoiced as a surprise.

Universities and research centres

We work closely with universities and research centres, which gives us access to techniques and expertise beyond our own walls. When a case needs equipment we do not have, we say so and we bring it in.
